Ordering and formats
Which book should I start with?
Most readers start with Book 1, Stay Safe in Any Emergency, or Book 2, Stay Safe at Home. Every book stands alone, so there’s no required order.
What formats are available?
eBook (EPUB, PDF and Kindle), audiobook (MP3 and M4B), paperback (printed and shipped by Books.by), and a Multi-Media Pack with all three.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Checkout is handled by Stripe or PayPal. We never see or store your card details.
Accessing your purchase
How do I get my digital book?
After checkout you’ll receive an email to set up your account. From there you can download or stream everything you’ve bought, any time. Use Log In at the top of any page.
I lost my download link or activation code. What do I do?
Email support@sr.guide from the address you bought with, and we’ll resend it.
How long does paperback delivery take?
Paperbacks are printed and shipped by Books.by. Timing depends on where you live; your Books.by confirmation has tracking details.
The apps
Where is my health information kept?
On your own device, in your browser. Nothing you type ever leaves your device unless you specifically send it. The apps contain no tracking or advertising code, and we never receive your health information. See the Health Record and our Privacy Policy.
Can I try an app before I buy?
Yes. Each app starts with a free 30-day trial.

What is your refund policy?

About the series
Are the books for seniors, or for their adult children?
Both. Every book is written for two readers at once: the person living independently, and the family member supporting them.
How are the facts checked?
Every statistic is checked against a credible, named source: government health and safety agencies, peer-reviewed research and recognized aging organizations. Each book lists its sources. If we get something wrong, we fix it: see our Corrections Policy.
