Corrections Policy
Safety advice is only useful if it’s right. Here is how we put things right when it isn’t.

How we check facts
Every statistic and every “this works” statement in our books and on this site is checked against a credible, named source: government health and safety agencies, peer-reviewed research and recognized aging organizations. Each book lists its sources in its Fact References chapter, so you can check them yourself.
Tell us about a mistake
If you think something we’ve published is wrong or out of date, email support@sr.guide with the book or page, what it says, and why you think it’s wrong. A link to a source helps.
What we do
- We acknowledge your message within two business days.
- If we got something wrong, we correct it on this site straight away, and in the next edition of the book.
- For a correction that changes the meaning of advice, we add a dated note saying what changed.
- We don’t quietly delete errors: the corrected page says it was corrected.
